About Us:

Storm Science:

Founded in 2022, Storm Science specializes in customized weather programs for all ages. Storm Science is in collaboration with Illinois Storm Chasers, which was founded in 2015 and has a following over 380,000 people across Illinois.

Our team has over a decade of public speaking experience in the weather industry, more than 20 years combined in storm chasing and have been featured in numerous stories via television, radio and print. Our commitment is to provide the highest quality programs that are educational, fun and interactive.

Owner: Nick Bartholomew

Nick has been obsessed with weather as long as he can remember. When he was younger, he was interested in weather but was terrified when thunderstorms would roll in. As Nick grew older that fear turned into a burning desire to understand severe weather. As soon as Nick got his license, he would go on local chases to see Mother Nature up close. In 2016 Nick decided to kick it up a notch and start traveling to Tornado Alley to see some of the most stunning weather our planet has to offer, having documented nearly 50 tornadoes so far in his career. Nick's passion has now transitioned to public outreach and education where he has been all across the state of Illinois to share his knowledge and experience.

Her chase career began in 2011 shortly after meeting other members of Texas Storm Chasers. Chelsea has witnessed 49 tornadoes, ranging from 5-second EF-0s to 90-minute EF-4s.

Storm Chaser/ Public Speaker: Adam Lucio

Adam Lucio is an avid storm chaser with over 250 tornadoes documented in 15 years of chasing. Adam co-founded ISC with Danny Neal in 2015, where they began an education outreach program across the state of Illinois, speaking to schools, libraries, clubs, museums , even national storm chasing conventions about all weather related topics.   Adam also guides tornado tours, taking guests out and teaching them about weather right in the field!
